Richard Stockton College of New Jersey: Marsh’s most important administrative service at Stockton, besides the two times she led the Faculty of Arts and Humanities as Chair and Dean, was as Chair of the Research and Professional Development Committee in the late 1980s, in which capacity she created the college’s first ever Grants Office, which was designed to work with faculty to develop research proposals at a time when research grants were more the province of universities than colleges. She also served on and often chaired numerous special committees and task forces, as well as numerous standing committees,  including the Steering Committee of the Faculty Assembly; Academic Policy Committee; General Studies Committee, and the General Arts and Humanities Committee.
